The State Department has approved a potential $115.1 million foreign military sales agreement for Pratt and Whitney to provide F-16 engine repair and sustainment services to Jordan.
Jordan intends for the agreement to support the its air force’s efforts to maintain 52 F100-PW-220E engines, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Thursday.
Pratt and Whitney will work to remanufacture existing propulsion fleet and provide parts, components, accessories and labor support.
The proposed sale aims to help sustain Jordan’s fighter aircraft and bolster its national defense, DSCA said.
