ServiceNow’s cloud platform offering has received a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification from the U.S. government.
The interagency Joint Authorization Board awarded the FedRAMP provisional authorization to operate to ServiceNow after the company passed the federal risk management process, ServiceNow said Monday.
“Given the rigorous requirements to achieve this level of compliance, which includes a greater depth of review than that of an agency-level authorization, federal agencies can confidently choose the ServiceNow cloud to streamline their enterprise services,†said Steve Alfieris, vice president of federal at ServiceNow.
The FedRAMP Program Management Office conducts the technical review process.
More than 100 federal government agencies such as NASA and the departments of Defense and Energy use ServiceNow’s software for use in information technology, human resource and finance functions.
