Spectrum Solutions will use OSIsoft and Esri software to implement an energy information management program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under a $6 million contract.
Spectrum Solutions will combine OSIsoft’s PI System, Esri’s ArcGIS geospatial information system and the PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS in order to facilitate situational awareness for energy managers, OSIsoft said Wednesday.
“Our goal is to help these managers meet energy reporting requirements, cybersecurity, accreditation and data sharing across the Army enterprise,” said Stephen Bates, OSIsoft director for advanced analytics.
According to OSIsoft, the Wide Area Visualization Environment contract aims to deliver an energy map that works to help managers monitor the energy consumption and conservation measures in line with Defense Department goals.
