McKesson will continue to provide information technology hosting services to Virginia-based Davis Health System and the Western Reserve Hospital in Ohio under two separate contract extensions.
The company said Friday it works with the two healthcare organizations to help them manage and secure their clinical and financial systems and applications.
“We know our customers face an increasingly complex and competitive landscape as they navigate their core mission of providing excellent patient care to their communities,” noted Nimesh Shah, president of McKesson’s enterprise information solutions unit.
“With our new approach, applications are delivered within an agile and flexible architecture that is built to help support the IT demands of our customers today and as they evolve in the future,” Shah added.
Davis Health System has collaborated with McKesson over the past three years and adopted company-built IT infrastructure platform in late 2015.
McKesson has provided managed hosting services to the Western Reserve Hospital for more than two years and will help the facility implement the company’s Radiology picture archiving and communication system and Conserus Workflow Intelligence tool.
