Intelligence community investment organization In-Q-Tel has partnered with endpoint security company Cylance to develop the latter’s artificial intelligence and machine-learning system for cybersecurity use.
Cylance’s endpoint threat prevention product CylancePROTECT works to scan files for safety check using artificial intelligence and algorithmic science, Cylance said Tuesday.
“Our partnership with Cylance is intended to further enhance how artificial intelligence and related technologies prevent malware and advanced threats from ever executing,†said Peter Kuper, partner on IQT’s investments team.
“This strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel will better secure our government and our nation from cyberattacks, which are escalating in number and sophistication,†added Stuart McClure, president and CEO of Cylance.
