Elbit Systems and KBR‘s joint venture Affinity Flying Services has been selected to assist Ascent Flight Training Ltd. in logistics tasks for U.K. military flight training systems.

Bezhalel Machlis, president and CEO of Elbit Systems, said Tuesday the award attests to the company’s role as provider of systems and training infrastructure, as well as maintenance and logistics support services.

The program is an agreement between UK Front Line Commands, the UK Defense Ministry Ascent and other industry partners.

Elbit expects Affinity to generate nearly $713 million over 18 years with the project.
