Andrew Shnuriwsky, a former head of public services and Canadian operations at Infosys, has been appointed vice president of Serco‘s business unit in Canada.
Dan Allen, chairman and CEO of Serco Inc. — the British services contractor’s North American subsidiary — said Wednesday that Shnuriwsky brings experience in business leadership and growth management to his new position.
Shnuriwsky will be responsible for the company’s business development strategy in the Canadian defense, healthcare, transportation and citizen services markets, Serco noted.
The 23-year industry veteran previously managed the government services unit of Infosys and led the Indian information technology firm’s Canadian subsidiary with responsibility over business development, customer service and government relations.
Before that, he worked in a senior associate role at Booz & Co., which PwC acquired in 2014.
