AFC130j EBizLockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group will continue to provide support for the British air force’s C-130J Super Hercules fleet through 2022 as part of a $545 million contract.

Lockheed said Wednesday the team will jointly deliver Hercules Integrated Operational Support work at Cambridge, Bristol and Brize Norton in the U.K. and Indianapolis in the U.S.

The U.K. arm of Lockheed’s aeronautics business will provide information technology, supply and field technical support services.

The company noted that the latest U.K. strategic defense and security review indicates that the country’s defense ministry plans to have the C-130 transport aircraft in service through 2030.

C-130 works to support U.K. humanitarian, contingency and routine supply operations.

The U.S. Air Force recently awarded Lockheed two contract modifications to produce a total of 43 C-130Js in various configurations.
