ICF International has been awarded a four-year, $15 million contract to provide event management services for the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy.
ICF will organize DG REGIO events such as the next series of Open Days institutional events in Brussels, where European Union, national, regional and local leaders and fund managers and final beneficiaries meet to tackle the EU Cohesion Policy funding for growth projects, ICF said Friday.
“We are committed to increasing the visibility and positive perception of EU regional policy through efficient, effective communications that are carefully targeted, deliver a strong message, have the right tone of voice and use relevant channels,†said Tobias Schafer, an executive director at ICF.
ICF will support media relations, social media and stakeholder engagement under the contract.
The Fairfax, Va.-based company has managed the EU regional policy event for the last four years.
