Grant Thornton has been authorized to assess cloud vendors that work with the federal government under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation administered the FedRAMP accreditation process for Grant Thornton, the company said Wednesday.
As a third-party assessment organization, Grant Thornton will assist companies as they comply with FedRAMP requirements for cloud computing, cybersecurity and risk management.
“Our accreditation as a 3PAO assessment provider can help us add tremendous value to clients as they work to provide the most secure services to the federal government,” said Dennis Bell, a partner in Grant Thornton’s business advisory services practice.
