Green Generation Solutions LLC has been awarded a $182,575 contract with the General Services Administration to develop energy conservation measures for the federal building and U.S. courthouse in Hammond, Indiana.
GreenGen will work to upgrade the interior and exterior LED lighting systems at the federal properties and submit a project data report to the Energy Department’s Federal Energy Management Program, the company said Tuesday.
“GreenGen is proud to collaborate with the GSA to advance President Obama’s vision for energy stewardship at federal facilities, which support the overall goal of reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions,” said Brad Dockser, CEO of GreenGen.
The goal is to save a total of 29,274 kilowatts-per-hour of power and $2,081 of energy cost, GreenGen says.
