General Atomics has delivered the final two RQ-1 Predator remotely piloted aircraft systems to the Italian Air Force.
Frank Pace, president of aircraft systems at General Atomics aeronautical systems, said Tuesday that “with the delivery of these aircraft, GA-ASI completes over two decades of delivering Predator A capabilities to the United States and allied countries.â€
He added that the Predator aircraft is designed to equip warfighters with situational awareness for many years to come.
The Italian Air Force uses Predator and MQ-9 RPA for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.
