Neel Mehta
Sudip Parikh serves as vice president and general manager of health and consumer solutions at Battelle, where he leads the scientific, technical, business development, communications and marketing team.
Parikh is also the VP of the firm’s health policy since May 2009 and was previously the VP of AgriFood and global AgriFood business lead at Battelle.
He served as a science adviser and professional staff to the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, where he led efforts to negotiate the budgets for various agencies before he joined Battelle.
He is also a board member of Research America, Friends of Cancer Research and Food Innovation Center.
Parikh was also a presidential management fellow at the National Institutes of Health.
He holds bachelor’s degree in materials applied science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctor’s degree in macromolecular structure and chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute.
