Dataguise has partnered with Carahsoft Technology to offer U.S. public-sector clients access to data protection technology through a General Services Administration acquisition vehicle.
DgSecure is now available to government organizations via Carahsoft’s GSA schedule contract, Dataguise said Tuesday.
“Given the exponential growth of data and the increasingly aggressive cyber attacks on government agencies, cybersecurity initiatives need to start focusing on protecting the data that matters most,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of emerging technologies at Carahsoft.
Dataguise designed its platform to discover, audit and monitor sensitive information stored within IT infrastructure as well as help organizations safeguard their confidential data in the event of an attack.
The technology employs masking and encryption methods and works to facilitate the risk analysis process, Dataguise noted.
