Two executives at Booz Allen Hamilton and Science Applications International Corp. expect their companies to see more opportunities to help the federal government counter terrorism and other threats worldwide, the Washington Business Journal reported Friday.
“It’s really not getting any safer,” said SAIC CEO Tony Moraco, adding that introduction of additional U.S. threat management efforts could potentially help some contractors drive sales.
The Business Journal reports Booz Allen was awarded a potential $937 million contract to support the Defense Department‘s Global Threat Mitigation Program.
Booz Allen and the Army Forces Command will collaborate under the initiative to explore new methods to defend the U.S. against ballistic missile threats and disrupt flow of information between adversaries, the report said.
