electricityARGO Systems has won a potential five-year, $90 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide support services for critical power systems at government facilities worldwide.

The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive acquisition process with three offers received, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The award covers planning, design, operations training, renovation and repair of power infrastructures, installation, equipment purchase and project management support.

The service branch expects contract work to be completed by December 2020 and will obligate $10,000 from fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance funds at the time of award, according to DoD.

Maryland-based ARGO Systems is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that works to provide environmental engineering, alternative and renewable energy-related support, telecommunications, construction and program management services for government and commercial clients.
