Vencore has been recertified by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation to assess cloud service providers under the government’s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The company said Friday it obtained reaccreditation as a FedRAMP third-party assessment organization after A2LA audited the firm’s compliance with the program’s technical requirements.
“As the federal government and commercial customers accelerate the adoption of cloud services, security and data privacy are critically important,” said Mac Curtis, Vencore president and CEO.
“We look forward to ensuring confidence that our customers are adopting cloud services that are trustworthy, safe and reliable,” Curtis added.
Vencore has served as a FedRAMP 3PAO since June 2013.
The U.S. General Services Administration runs the program and works with A2LA to assess the competency of companies that conduct evaluations on cloud offerings for the public sector.
