solider, equipment, c4isrA subsidiary of Mission Ready Services has secured the rights from the U.S. Army to market a body armor to local and state law enforcement agencies and international military forces and coalitions under a patent license agreement.

Protect the Force signed the agreement with the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center for the Integrated Body Armor Garment, Mission Ready Services said Tuesday.

“We are excited to receive this exclusive license from the U.S. Army providing a largely uninhibited path for the company to pursue our sales and marketing efforts on a broad scale with a primary focus on national and international SWAT and emergency response teams,” said Francisco Martinez, chief technical officer at Mission Ready Services.

Robert DiLalla, infantry combat equipment team lead at NSRDEC’s warfighter directorate, invented the garment that consists of body armor panels designed to protect soldiers from ballistic threats.
