Lenovo and Nutanix have partnered to jointly develop and offer new hyperconverged appliances to customers through Lenovo’s global channel partners.
The Lenovo hyperconverged appliances will feature Nutanix’s software and incorporate Intel technologies to run enterprise applications, databases, virtualized desktops and big data analytics, Lenovo said Wednesday.
Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo, said the partnership aims to help customers “reduce complexity in datacenters of all sizes.â€
The companies are set to announce the joint offering at the Gartner Data Center, Infrastructure & Operations Management Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, next month.
Lenovo and Nutanix also plan to invest in platform engineering and development projects.
