Five companies have joined IBM’s cloud ecosystem to deliver hybrid cloud services to the U.S. federal government.
IBM said Tuesday that Arrow, Avnet Government Solutions, Ingram Micro, Tech Data and ViON will incorporate the IBM cloud system into their respective offerings as part of the partnership.
“With our partners, we have a strong understanding of the IT investments agencies have made, and how to help them with their migrations to cloud in a secure and strategic way,†said Anne Altman, general manager of U.S. federal and government industries at IBM.
The new partners will serve as reseller and distributor of IBM’s cloud services, which that company designs to help applications and data either remain on premise or integrate with cloud-migrated systems.
IBM will also give partner companies access to its Bluemix cloud platform and software-as-a-service products.
