The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce will transition into a new entity named the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce by January as part of its rebranding and restructuring efforts.
The chamber said Wednesday the change works to unify the “voice of business” in northern Virginia.
“The rebranding and restructuring will allow us to better serve and increase our value to our members, stakeholders and business community,” said Mitchell Weintraub, partner at Cordia Partners and chairman of the Fairfax Chamber board of directors.
“This is about strengthening and unifying the regional business voice.”
The chamber added it will work with business and political leaders and community partners to prepare for the launch of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
