Neel Mehta
Akeem Iman-Jones serves as director of human resources for the business development and strategy and communications organizations at Boeing‘s defense, space and security business.
He oversees all aspects of the organizations’ HR programs and brings more than 15 years of human resources operational management experience to the company.
Before he joined Boeing in December 2013, Iman-Jones led HR initiatives at Cardinal Health‘s pharmaceutical distribution unit and supported its independent retail sales, national accounts, marketing and specialty care organizations.
Prior to Cardinal Health, he worked as HR director and business partner at Nationwide Insurance and held the role of regional HR manager at American Family Insurance Co.
He participated in multiple employee resource groups and mentorship programs during his residency in Ohio, as well as offered career guidance to Native American, Hispanic, Asian American and African American college students.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, liberal arts and human resources from Urbana University and a master’s degree in organizational development from Central Michigan University.
He has also finished a leadership development program at Harvard University.
