Carahsoft Technology Corp. has agreed to offer TransUnion‘s investigative and risk management product to public sector customers in an effort to help government agencies identify fraud and prevent financial losses.
Carahsoft will resell TransUnion’s TLOxp offering to government clients via the former company’s NASA contract, TransUnion said Monday.
“With the addition of TLOxp to our offerings, we are now able to offer government agencies and investigators with fast access to actionable intelligence,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of emerging technologies at Carahsoft.
Kevin Kottman, vice president of TransUnion’s government information solutions group, added the offering is intended to help government agencies aggregate public and private data to gain a complete view of vendors, businesses and individuals.
“This tool can help agencies authenticate identities, detect fraud, reduce financial losses, and protect the interests of its citizens,†Kottman said.
