cybersecurityAvecto has partnered with Carahsoft Technology to offer a cybersecurity software platform to government organizations as the companies seek to help agencies manage threats at the endpoint level.

Carahsoft will distribute Defendpoint to public sector customers through multiple contract vehicles, Avecto said Wednesday.

Carahsoft also agreed to provide sales, marketing and order management support for resellers of Avecto endpoint security products and services in the government market through the partnership.

“We are looking forward to growing this partnership and further improving cybersecurity in the public sector,” said Ananth Appathurai, vice president of strategic alliances at Avecto.

The companies plan to hold a webinar on Dec. 3 to discuss multiple strategies for government agencies to mitigate back-door system vulnerabilities and pass-the-hash threats.
