Avnet has relocated its government solutions business unit to a new facility in Chantilly, Virginia, in an effort to work closer to potential partners in the federal, state and local government and educational sectors.
Pete Rzonca, president of Avnet Government Solutions, said Wednesday his group’s move to the Southgate Business Center in Chantilly allows the organization to further support the public sector’s information technology programs.
Avnet Government Solutions works with independent software vendors, managed services providers, systems integrators and value-added resellers to deliver government-focused IT offerings.
Avnet maintains a portfolio of cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics, security, engineering, integration, education and training, field installation, maintenance, asset repair, recycling and disposal, digital and data center services.
The company also offers IT products from Hewlett Packard, and Hitachi Data Systems Federal through the General Services Administration‘s Schedule program.
