Serco Inc. has received a $15.4 million contract to refresh the tools for the U.S. Navy’s staffing processes in order to help the client prioritize personnel resources.
The company said Thursday it will develop process tools and analyze data to assist in the Navy’s Street to Fleet initiative meant to forecast potential staffing requirements.
The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
“We are honored to do our part in helping ensure our U.S. Navy has the sailors in place and available to serve and protect our country,†said Dan Allen, Serco chairman and CEO.
The Navy’s Street to Fleet program aims to help the Navy assign sailors to proper billets.
