LogRhythm has added new automation, data management and incident response orchestration tools to a unified cybersecurity offering designed to help enterprises address sophisticated threats.
The company said Thursday version 7 of its security intelligence and analytics platform works to collect, examine and prioritize events from multiple disparate information sources.
Chris Petersen, LogRhythm co-founder, chief technology officer and senior vice president of products, said the company also aims to help security professionals neutralize potential cyber intruders through the platform.
The LogRhythm technology now employs a threat activity map, a risk-based scoring algorithm and a framework for users to automatically investigate and remediate threats at the endpoint level, the company noted.
The company also updated the platform to allow security operations centers to manage their incident response workflows while cutting threat detection and resolution times.
