F35 Air MissileLockheed Martin has selected Avcorp Industries to produce the outboard wing for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.

Avcorp will kick off production of the F-35 carrier variant outboard wing assembly in the second quarter of 2016 and deliver the products in the third quarter, Avcorp said Thursday.

“The F-35 program is an important part of our business strategy,” said Peter George, CEO of Avcorp Group.

“With this opportunity we are committed to providing best value to our customer and the JSF program,” George added.
