Salesforce.com has received an authorization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to offer Salesforce Analytics Cloud with its Salesforce Government Cloud portfolio to public sector agencies.
Dave Rey, executive vice president of sales for Salesforce’s North American public sector business, wrote in a blog entry posted Tuesday that Salesforce Analytics Cloud works to provide data intelligence to agencies.
He added that the analytics technology generates insights from data in efforts to support agency decision-making, foster transparency and manage taxpayer money.
“The time has come to leverage analytics to solve once-intractable government problems and to empower individuals to uncover new solutions,” Rey said.
