CloudPassage‘s Halo platform will be available to federal government customers through Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud for the U.S. region as the security company works to achieve FedRAMP-ready status.
CloudPassage said Tuesday it is seeking to obtain a certification under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to provide agile security functions to the Defense Department and other government agencies.
“As government entities move aggressively into cloud computing models, it’s more important than ever to arm them with security capabilities that focus on automation, portability and scalability,” said Carson Sweet, chief strategy officer of CloudPassage.
AWS GovCloud (US) works to support workload migration to the cloud based on regulatory and compliance requirements.
