Booz Allen Becomes Silver Sponsor of Consortium for IT Software Quality

Booz Allen Hamilton has joined the Consortium for IT Software Quality as a silver sponsor and will support the development of new software quality standards and pilot the CISQ conformance assessment program.

The company said Tuesday it is the sixth major sponsor to join the consortium’s efforts to foster the implementation of software quality standards across the IT sector.

“[We] enthusiastically embrace any efforts to more uniformly define software quality metrics across industry,” added Dan Tucker, a principal and leader in Booz Allen’s systems delivery group.

Booz Allen noted that it has worked with CISQ co-sponsor CAST Software to publish research on software quality for systems delivery.
