AAR has received a one-year, $6.7 million renewed contract from the Military Sealift Command to continue the company’s vertical replenishment services for U.S. Navy helicopters.
The company will carry out work for the Navy’s 5th and 7th Fleets in the Mediterranean Sea, Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean, AAR said Monday.
Steven Harrison, president of AAR’s airlift group, said the renewal continues AAR’s service for military personnel that spans eight consecutive years.
Military Sealift Command awarded the initial contract to AAR Airlift Group in 2014Â and MSCÂ operates 110 ships worldwide for the Navy and Defense Department.
