The U.S. Navy has kicked off the search for sources to maintain the service’s environmental information management system under a potential $38.5 million contract.
The companies must perform the technical support on a Navy enterprise data center-hosted system for the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, according to a synopsis released Thursday.
Interested companies have until Oct. 1 to respond to the solicitation.
The Navy intends for the support services to comply with environmental regulations, reduce the impact of encroachment on fleet bases and training ranges, conserve energy, and bolster forces support.
