A Research and Markets report predicts the global market for military aerospace simulation and training technologies will have a compound annual growth rate of -1.46 percent through 2019.
The company said Monday aging fleets military aircraft and demand to extend their service lives will drive growth in the market.
According to its report, the efforts to drive down costs will also turn the military toward “live, virtual and constructive” training using flight simulators, which will be a major trend.
The military aerospace simulation and training market also faces challenges in the limited simulator workspace and potential environmental impact of the actuators, Research and Markets said.
