PeopleTec will develop controlled high-explosive response testing equipment under a potential $10 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with the Missile Defense Agency.
The Defense Department said Tuesday the contract fulfills phase three of work under a Small Business Innovation Research program and PeopleTec will work to support the repeatability of existing impact testing programs with the goal to mitigate costs.
PeopleTec will perform work in Alabama through the end of August 2018.
MDA will issue a $100,000 task order under the contract, DoD added.
PeopleTec is a small business based in Huntsville, Alabama.
