Navy Selects 5 Firms for Natural Resource Mgmt Services IDIQ

The U.S. Navy has awarded contracts worth $49 million combined to five companies to provide natural resource management support services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific.

NAVFAC Pacific received seven proposals via the FedBizOpps website for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Awardees include:

• Cardno GS
• HDR Environmental Operations and Construction
• Sundance-EA Associates JV
• Sustainable Resources Group International
• SWCA

Each contract has a base term and a four-year option period and covers forest restoration, ungulate fence development, invasive species trapping and vegetation surveys.

Contractors will perform work in Guam, Hawaii and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands through September 2020.

NAVFAC Pacific will obligate $25,000 from the Japanese government’s fiscal 2015 direct cash contributions and the service branch’s fiscal 2015 overhead, supervision and inspection contract funds at the time of award.
