Cambridge International Systems will act as a subcontractor to Leidos under a $4.3 billion contract for the modernization of the U.S. Defense Department‘s military electronic health records system.
The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health comprises four primary contractors, 30 small and large member companies, and 17 technology suppliers that will work to deliver an integrated commercial EHR platform under the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization initiative, Cambridge said Thursday.
“We look forward to the work ahead and are committed to improving healthcare and providing important decision support capabilities to facilitate improved clinical outcomes for our deserving men and women in uniform,” said Cambridge CEO Kim Harokopus.
Leidos’ three core partners for the 10-year DHMSM project are Cerner, Accenture‘s federal services unit and Henry Schein.
