The Virginia Information Technologies Agency has contracted Interactive Achievement to supply an instructional data software platform to the Virginia Department of Education.
IA said Monday its onTRAC Longitudinal Data System works to track and collect data points for school administrators to determine education trends.
Teachers use the system to monitor students’ progress and craft instructional strategies tailored to the needs of each student, IA says.
The company will deploy the onTRAC system with an interventions module intended for attendance and behavior monitoring in schools.
IA will also provide its onTRAC Live platform to the department and that product is designed to give school administrators and teachers online customer service support.
Roanoke, Virginia-based Interactive Achievement works to provide reporting and assessment tools for classroom education.
