Timothy J. Romenesko, chief operating officer of the expeditionary services segment at AAR, has been named vice chairman at the Illinois-based defense and aerospace company.
AAR said Wednesday David P. Storch, chairman and CEO of AAR, will take over as president while Romenesko will continue to serve as COO of the business segment and strategic adviser to the chairman and CEO.
Romenesko currently sits on the board of directors at AAR.
He has been with AAR for more than three decades and has held senior leadership roles at the company, including president and COO and chief financial officer.
