Scott Frohman, formerly enterprise federal sales manager of defense and intelligence at Google, has joined SAS as director of federal sales.
He will manage a sales team that promotes company-built business intelligence, analytics and data management platforms in the federal civilian, defense and intelligence markets, SAS said Monday.
“Scott will lead the charge to bring SAS software to bear on U.S. government challenges such as fraud, cybersecurity, healthcare and national security,†said Karen Terrell, vice president of SAS’ federal business.
Frohman also held sales leadership positions at IBM, where he focused on helping build up the company’s software portfolio for the public sector.
