Paul Brubaker, formerly director of U.S. federal government at mobile security services provider AirWatch by VMware, has been named vice president of strategic accounts and customer strategy at IT Cadre, FCW Insider blog reported Tuesday.
He will work to help IT Cadre’s clients implement projects that seek to improve mission performance and operational efficiencies.
During his tenure at AirWatch by VMware, Brubaker helped manage sales, business development, marketing and strategic growth initiatives for the federal sector.
His previous roles in the government sector include director of planning and performance management at the Defense Department’s office of the deputy chief management officer, deputy staff director and chief investigator at the Senate Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management, and evaluator at the Government Accountability Office, Troy K. Schneider writes.
Brubaker also held senior executive positions at several information technology firms, including as Synteractive, Cisco Systems, Procentrix and Aquilent.
The former president of AFCEA International’s Washington, D.C. chapter currently sits on the advisory board at Xceedium.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Youngstown State University and master’s degree in public administration from Kent State University’s Graduate School of Management.
