Dave Schulte, formerly a vice president and managing director at Kaiser Permanente Ventures, has joined McKesson‘s venture capital arm McKesson Ventures as managing director, effective Sept. 8.
McKesson said Monday Schulte will work with Tom Rodgers, the fund’s senior vice president and managing director, on the development and management of its portfolio.
“Dave is a well-respected, active investor in the areas of healthcare where we are focused and adding him to the team will help us continue to grow the fund and develop our portfolio,” Rodgers said.
Schulte has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience in the healthcare and technology sectors.
He worked at Kaiser Permanente Ventures for 12 years and led the company’s investment team.
He has also served as a software and healthcare investment banker at J.P. Morgan, UBS and Piper Jaffray.
