A Parsons-led team has been awarded a task order of an undisclosed value to help the U.S. Missile Defense Agency engineer and integrate a weapon system against ballistic missile threats.
Parsons said Thursday it will also provide architecture and technical baseline development, testing and verification services for the agency’s Ballistic Missile Defense System.
“Our team of experts will draw on its extensive experience providing operational and systems integration support to the MDA to ensure the success of their mission,” Mary Ann Hopkins, a Parsons group president and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 list for 2015.
Contract work began July 25 and will run through Aug. 27, 2016.
Parsons is also part of a Leidos-led consortium that won a contract earlier this year to help build a similar-type weapon for NATO.
