CubicLogoJames Sanchez, formerly chief master sergeant of the U.S. Air Force, has joined Cubic Corp. as special operations medical director of the company’s NEK Services subsidiary.

He will be responsible for Cubic’s initiatives to expand the NEK specialized medical training offerings, Cubic said Tuesday.

“James’ strong leadership and extensive background in medical training will be a valuable asset to Cubic’s integrated training for special operations forces, law enforcement and other governmental agencies,” said Jeffrey Keers, deputy general manager of Cubic NEK.

The 28-year Air Force veteran was assigned to the 41st Air Rescue and Recovery Squadron at McClellan Air Force Base in California in 1983 after completing pararescue indoctrination training at Lackland AFB in Texas.

Sanchez is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Service Medal.
