Fulcrum IT’s enterprise solutions division has achieved the Capability Maturity Model Integration Continuous Level 3 rating in recognition of the division’s work to adopt process improvement practices in software development.
Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute granted the CMMI Continuous Level 3 appraisal after an evaluation of Fulcrum’s division in several process areas.
The institute looked at Fulcrum’s risk management, configuration management, organizational process definition and focus, project control and monitoring and organizational training work, the company said Tuesday.
Scott Ferguson, vice president of enterprise solutions division at Fulcrum IT, said the CMMI Development v1.3 rating recognizes the company’s efforts to align its software engineering products and services with clients’ requirements.
Centreville, Virginia-based Fulcrum IT provides software engineering, data management, cybersecurity and cloud computing platforms and services to clients in intelligence, defense and healthcare industries.
