She is a volunteer leader in the American Society of Association Executives and founder of the Small Association Forum for Executives.
Harrington has delivered the keynote address or staff presentation at events organized by organizations such as the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, American Payroll Association, Council for Advancement and Support of Education, Virginia Society of Association Executives and SRA International.
She has a master’s degree in public relations with specialization in employee communications from the University of Maryland at College Park.
