Neel Mehta
Regina Genton serves as vice president of space and intelligence programs for U.S. business development at Raytheon and brings three decades of government intelligence experience to her role.
She came to Raytheon in December 2012 after work as chief operating officer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
As NGA COO, she managed the agency’s financial, programming, human resource, budgeting, corporate governance, security, and partner engagement operations.
Other positions she held within the agency were director of international affairs and policy, deputy director for the office of strategic transformation and business executive in the acquisition directorate.
Genton also worked as assistant deputy director for strategic initiatives and policy at the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as well as foreign broadcast information service director and deputy executive director at CIA.
Before that, she directed intelligence programs at the National Security Council for three years and spent 12 years in professional staff positions at the U.S. Senate.
She serves on the Intelligence and National Security Alliance Executive Committee and is a recipient of multiple awards, including the NGA Distinguished Civilian Intelligence Medal, DNI National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, and the CIA Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Bryn Mawr College and a juris doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center.
