Retired Army Lt. Gen. Robert Dail, a member of LMI Government Consulting‘s board of directors since 2009, has been inducted into the Defense Logistics Agency Hall of Fame in recognition of his role as former director of the combat logistics support agency.
Dail oversaw organizational changes in DLA when the Defense Department implemented the enterprise business system in order to enhance warfighting command services in Afghanistan and Iraq, LMI said Wednesday.
“Bob Dail’s induction to DLA’s Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to his accomplishments as DLA’s director,†said Jeff Bennett, senior vice president of logistics at LMI.
“Under his leadership, DLA implemented innovative solutions that improved the reliability of multiple supply chains, increased weapon system availability and modernized DLA’s information technology tools,†Bennett added.
The DLA Hall of Fame recognizes the contributions former members have extended to the agency.
