The National Safety Council has appointed Robert Brooks, senior director of environmental health and safety at Day & Zimmermann, to serve on the nonprofit organization’s board of delegates.
“I look forward to collaborating with the other delegates and the board of directors to serve the NSC’s mission to save lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road,” Brooks said Thursday.
NSC has more than 50 delegates who hold biannual meetings to help the council formulate health and safety strategies.
The council’s board of delegates is scheduled to meet before the organization commences its 2015 NSC Congress and Expo that will be held in Atlanta on Sept. 26.
