The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency‘s Tactical Technology Office plans to unveil information on its Gremlins program during a Proposers’ Day from Sept. 24 to 25.
A notice posted Friday on FedBizOpps said registration is open through Sept. 18.
According to DARPA, the Gremlins program aims to utilize small unmanned aircraft systems for coordinated support during distributed U.S. military air operations.
“Our goal is to conduct a compelling proof-of-concept flight demonstration that could employ intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and other modular, non-kinetic payloads in a robust, responsive and affordable manner,” said Daniel Patt, program manager at DARPA.
DARPA also started Gremlins to help with missions that involve air-launched and air-recoverable systems.
